Welcome !

We are a pack of about 50 boys and have dens for grades 1-5. We go camping twice a year (at least) and have lots of fun.

If you are interested in joining our pack you can come to a pack meeting. They are generally the first Friday of the month from 7:30-9:00 in the St Jane deChantal school cafeteria (see "Upcoming Events" to the right). You may also use the "Contact Us" link to the left to send the CubMaster a message.

Pack meeting theme for Friday October 3 is camping

We have a pack meeting this Friday from 7:30-9 in the deChantal room (school cafeteria). The meeting will have a camping theme so we can get the boys ready for our trip to Cabin John later this month. Activities will include stations where the boys learn about camping as well as a campfire. Let's get ready for camping!

We won the Garlic Mustard Challenge!

Pack 461 Cub Scouts pulled Garlic Mustard plants (an invasive species) during our Spring camp out, for the "Challenge" sponsored by Montgomery County Parks, and won in the category "Greatest amount of Garlic Mustard pulled by a group".

Our first pack event this year will be the kick-off BBQ and Join Scouting night on September 12 at 6 p.m. It will be at Fleming Park (9929 Fleming Avenue, Bethesda).

Here's an opportunity for your cubs and you to spend a day or part of the day at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. Your cub gets in for free and earns a patch and possibly the Recruiter Strip, too!
